Opinions are POV not Fact

Now if you don't know what POV means, number 1 get your head out of the gutter, and number 2 it's an acronym standing for Point of View. That’s exactly what a person's opinion is. IT'S THEIR POV. Let me say that again if you didn't catch that. OPINION=POV!

  So many people today mistake opinion for fact. They take people's word that they are too fat or too skinny. They think there is a problem with them because someone says there is. That's why most people who are bullied in school become depressed or worse. That’s why girls care so much about their image because "Society"(a bunch of people voicing their own OPINION) says they need to look and act exactly like a certain view or they are not beautiful.

   Listen up! A person's opinion about the way you dress, talk, act, or look is just that, their opinion. An opinion does not define whether you are beautiful, ugly, smart, dumb, awesome, or shun worthy. Everyone is beautiful and awesome in their own special way. Some people see it and some people don't. Make sure you hold on to those that do.

  Next time someone tells you that your anything less, remember they don't define you. You are beautiful, amazing, smart, talented, and deserve the best. Pay them no mind. They are the ones at fault for taking the opportunity to control your emotions.

  Above all this, be unapologetically you. Don’t let society shape who you are. Then you wouldn't be you. You would be their puppet. I can tell you that you are more than that puppet of theirs will ever be.


   Be yourself! Love yourself! Create yourself! And one day those comments that used to sting will leave you in a fit of laughter. Trust me on this one.

Coming Up With Ideas

 I had a hard time coming up with this weeks topic. I just wasn’t coming up with any ideas. And then this morning I realized I had in fact already found a topic without knowing it. Queen of Procrastination

 So I may be a bit of a procrastinator. A bit?! Girl please, you rule the place! You again? Seriously? Ya and you better get used to it because I’m sticking with you forever. Ugh fine. God's Work

 Last night I was thinking about the past year, and how God has presented himself in my life. I can so clearly pinpoint moments where I knew God was there with me. Now I never had one of those huge, over the top awe-inspiring moments, that some people talk about. I’m not saying those moments haven’t happened for some people, and it’s good that they have had them. However, my realization moments have been small, but just as meaningful.  I remember once I was out shopping with one of my friends, and my phone started going ballistic. I started freaking out because I was supposed to text my dad our location after he got done grocery shopping at the store across the highway, but my phone was not working and my friend did not have hers.
