My Love Life
I know what you are thinking. This is going to be some sappy story about a boyfriend. If so, excuse me as I die of laughter. Those of you who know me know my love life is non-existent… except for a marriage proposal in kindergarten, but that’s another story. This love story can be represented by a revised song lyric from a song sung by Dale Evans (shout out to my childhood). “There is nothing like coffee in the morning, and nothing like books at night.” Guess which word I replaced (hint: No Love Life!)
Coffee and Books, the current loves of my life… who am I kidding, they are the permanent loves of my life. I might as well become a librarian with a keurig and own a lot of puppies. Oh well, I don’t need a man. Girl please. Shut Up!! … thank you. Anyways, My love story with coffee started with five. Of course, as my mom says it wasn't really coffee it was more like creamer and milk with a teaspoon of coffee, but whatever. Then came the non-fat sugar free decaf cocomo from Dutch Brothers. It wasn’t till I was thirteen when I truly became a coffee addict. It’s bad. I am at the point that I rely on it to keep me from killing people. Literally, like without coffee I would be in jail right now...well maybe not that bad but still.
Then there is books. When I read, the whole world wonders what the hell is wrong with me. Seriously! When I’m reading I tend to share my reactions out loud and in my facial expressions. I could probably make a job out of reading in front of people. I wasn’t that into books until a few years ago. It took me a while to find ones a really liked. Now if you hear me screaming it is because somebody was murdered or attacked by a three headed beast. But honestly though, if you were to provide me with coffee and books I would love you for life.
I should probably wrap this up. Hopefully I will post on here more often from now on. Sure you will. SHUT UP!!
Four words: Chapter’s Books and Coffee:)
